Often we forget about what else people can do with their mobile devices.  We can't forget that a mobile device can also be used to call!  Consider some of the following data:

  • Mobile calls to businesses will reach 162 billion by 2019, more than double from 2014.
  • 66% of millennials are very likely to contact a business by calling versus 22% who are likely to use social media.
  • When asked if they could use their phone to do one thing... 38% of respondents said they would use it for calling (Most of any other option)

Here are 2 things to make sure your site caters to the needs of customers who want to call:

1.) Make your phone number easy to find when your site is browsed using a mobile device.

  • 34% of callers will only search for a company's phone number for a 1 minute or less  before moving on to another company.

2.) When searched by name your company  listing on Google should allow for a direct call.
