FLYBOOK IDEAS AND UPDATES: LODGING, TOURS, RENTALS.

Lodging: House Keeping Report

Many of our lodging customers are getting great value from our "house keeping" report.  It is a great tool for setting your cleaning, departure and maintenance schedules.  The report includes all arrival, departure, stay over and general reservation details.   The information is also being used by other service departments.   This report is one that we see run on a daily basis and includes great information for your staff that is dedicated to on site customer service.   Like most of our reports it is available in csv or pdf to provide additional functionality, reporting or styling.

Tours: Large Group Communication:

One strength of the Flybook reservation system is the ability to manage large group reservations.  When managing the experiences of large groups communication becomes paramount. And, in some cases a simple check box can make all the difference.    Within a reservation you are able manage, edit and trigger your automated emails.  You can add additional email addresses, and you can now select to send the message to ALL clients associated with that particular reservation. No more forwarding emails, no more misinformation, no more double entry, no more cut and pasting... one check box and send.

Rentals: Busy Blocks

Our tour, rental and multisport customers operate very complicated business structures. They need the ability to flexibly schedule every aspect of their business so that they can serve and adjust to the ever changing needs of their clientele.  Many of our customers use "resource" availability to operate their daily activities.  "Resources" are items that are necessary for operation.  Those items range from rafts to bikes, skis to snow mobiles, buses to vans, surf boards to kayaks and everything in between.  We have improved the ability to select one or many resources and apply a modified block of time aka a "busy block."   This allows for the removal of a resource that automatically updates your businesses availability in real time.  For example, we have a rafting company that needed to service one of their shuttle vans.  They were able to schedule the van out of availability with a "busy block" and continue to take reservations without the fear of overbooking and not having enough van space available. The use of these flexible blocks is endless, and our customers are finding new and creative ways everyday!
