Q: What is your job at The Flybook?
A: I am an onboarding specialist who helps customers get started with The Flybook, troubleshoot business problems. I love to help outdoor activity businesses strategize how to optimize their business operations using The Flybook. I’m a people person, so I love how this gives me the opportunity to build relationships with customers and help them through change.
Q: What is your favorite pastime?
A: I love working on my farm with my husband and my 2 daughters. We have a U-Pick farm that has veggies, miracle berries, mini cows, piglets, llamas, cats, chickens. I love living in Bend, OR - the great views and the outdoors, especially spending time at the lakes during the summer.
Q: What’s your most common question from customers?
A: “I have this marketing thing I want to do, how do I make this happen”. I love working with customers on their creative marketing ideas and finding ways Flybook can automate it with gift certificates, promotion tools and agent features to help get the most out of their programs.

Q: What are some of your favorite tips for users?
A: A few really simple things - Set up email notifications, calendar filters and colors. I always like to coach people on how to set up The Flybook so that their day-to-day use is easy. Setting up staff so that they can see all of the notes and client information.
Q: What do you think the coolest Flybook feature is?
A: I love the new online booking tool because its attractive and customizable and I’ve seen it increasing people’s online purchases!
Q: What do you like about your job that you haven’t experienced at other workplaces?
A: I like that my voice counts. We are an extremely collaborative company. I have been able to speak directly to engineering on behalf of the customers that I work with on a daily basis, they take the time to learn and understand the problem statements to determine what can be resolved with software.
Flexibility and support with being a new mom. With my two young children, I’m given not only flexibility but I’m encouraged to continue to thrive at work. I have all the tools to excel being a working mother and continue to grow in my position.
