We are thrilled to announce a new integration with Swell, an industry-leading customer engagement platform. While there are a number of services Swell can help you with, Flybook prioritized this integration for their automated reviews feature (Google, Trip Advisor, Facebook, Yelp, Glass Door, and many others). Several Flybook users have been testing this in real-time and their results are REMARKABLE. Lifetime reviews on Google have more than doubled in a matter of just 2 months since using Swell. Their monthly review submissions have gone from less than 50 per month to more than 300 positive reviews in a single month.
Why are reviews so important?
There are a number of both obvious and not-so-obvious reasons why having robust reviews is important for your business. It clearly creates trust and confidence among consumers. Studies show that 90% of people read online reviews before visiting a business and are likely to spend 31% more with you if you have "excellent" reviews!
A more surprising benefit of reviews is how they can improve your placement in Google search results. These search algorithms are complex (that’s an understatement). But, there is one thing that is pretty clear: Google reviews significantly impact Google's local search. Of the over 200+ ranking factors in Google’s search engine algorithm, almost 10% of the total weight is estimated to be review signals such as review quantity, review velocity, and review diversity.
With proper execution, Google business reviews can be one of your most successful marketing tactics. (and so much cheaper than those expensive paid search campaigns!)
How does the integration work?
Through our integration with Swell, client phone numbers and emails will be shared from Flybook to your Swell account, as they are added to a reservation. Simultaneously, a text is automatically scheduled to send 2 hours after the last activity is completed on the reservation. As reservation changes occur, Swell will be notified automatically, and send times will be updated.

Swell's approach to getting great reviews:
Automation * Personalization * Integration
- Automation: Every step of the process is automated. Obtaining customer information, scheduling the text/email, and outreach.
- Personalization: When the text or email is personalized and includes your brand and personal message, it improves the response rate. This is highly customizable in Swell and created entirely by you.
- Integration with Google: Swell is Google's preferred vendor, based on the authenticity of their review capture. With a one-click login to Google Account for your guests, placing them in front of the listing, the barriers to leaving a review are almost completely eliminated.
You will have a dashboard view in your Swell account, allowing quick and easy review and response. While Google is highly recommended - you can drive customers to leave reviews on Google, Trip Advisor, Facebook, Yelp, Glass Door, Best Company (formerly BBB), and more.
Want to get started? Let's do this!
Getting started is easy. We have negotiated in two areas on your behalf with Swell:
- Two different a la cart offerings so you can just get the reviews portion of their system (not available unless you are a Flybook user)
- Special pricing: if you sign up in the next 60 days (by November 1st, 2021), you will be locked in to the early adopter price starting at $99. (Non-Flybook partners pay a direct price starting at $250 per month)
There are two different options for purchase:
- Tier 1: Swell Review and Swell Message ($99 early adopter price) - Automated reviews, review dashboard that allows you to respond to reviews, two way conversations via dashboard and text message reviews.
- Tier 2: Swell Review, Message AND Swell Webchat and Swell Survey ($129 early adopter price) - Everything in Tier 1 + a webchat feature that allows them to have a webchat on their main site so that people can speak to an employee via a webchat.
Simply reach out to Flybook Advisors (support@theflybook.com) to get started. If you need it - they can hook you up with a demo (essentially what you see in the video) or they can just get the ball rolling to set up your Swell account at the special pricing.
